We're now looking for a Senior Technical SEO Consultant to join our team and support enterprise-level SEO initiatives across global markets, combining technical expertise, analytical insight, and strategic thinking.

About the Role

This contractor role is ideal for a hands-on SEO expert who thrives at the intersection of technical optimisation, analytics, and content performance. You'll take the lead on technical SEO strategy and implementation from auditing and keyword research to metadata optimisation and search performance analysis across high-traffic, multi-market environments.

You'll also contribute to our evolving thought leadership in GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation), helping shape how brands adapt to the next generation of search and AI-driven discovery.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Technical SEO Consultant, you'll be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify crawl, indexation, and performance opportunities.
  • Defining and prioritising technical requirements and testing in collaboration with developers and product teams.
  • Driving on-page and content optimisation including structure, metadata, and schema enhancements.
  • Performing keyword and competitor analysis across multiple markets and languages.
  • Delivering actionable SEO reporting and insights using tools such as SEOmonitor, Conductor, and Google Search Console.
  • Providing strategic recommendations for international SEO and localisation.
  • Contributing to thought leadership around AI-driven search, GEO, and AEO trends.

Collaboration Areas

You'll collaborate on, but not be solely responsible for:

  • Proposal input and technical scope definition.
  • Copywriting frameworks and content optimisation guidelines.
  • Project planning and prioritisation support.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in technical SEO, preferably across enterprise or global brands.
  • Expertise with SEO tools such as SEOmonitor, Conductor, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs.
  • Strong understanding of site architecture, crawling, indexation, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Experience managing multi-market SEO and localisation strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills - able to turn complex insights into clear recommendations.
  • Interest or experience in emerging search disciplines, including GEO, AEO, and AI-enhanced search discovery.
