Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our established Hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure operational excellence, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise all hotel departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance guest satisfaction and optimise revenue.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations, fostering a positive working environment.
  • Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
  • Maintain high standards of guest services by addressing guest feedback promptly and effectively.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to promote hotel services and special events.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Uphold the hotel's brand standards whilst adapting to evolving market trends.

Skills

  • Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication skills; fluency in multiple languages is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of human resources practices including recruitment, training, and staff development.
  • Deep understanding of guest services principles and hospitality standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances whilst maintaining professionalism.
