Role Summary
A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Procurement Manager
to take ownership of sourcing and supply chain activities for major solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects. The role will oversee purchasing across all key components—such as modules, inverters, transformers, and batteries—along with subcontracted works. You'll be responsible for delivering efficient, cost-effective procurement processes while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary project teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the full procurement process for large-scale solar and BESS projects, from strategy through to delivery
- Conduct supplier identification, issue RFQs, assess bids, and manage negotiations and purchase orders
- Coordinate materials logistics and delivery schedules through ERP platforms and Procore systems
- Prepare, negotiate, and administer supplier and subcontractor agreements under FIDIC and NEC contracts
- Monitor supplier performance, manage procurement risks, and support project cost and timeline targets
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement within the energy, EPC, or infrastructure sectors
- Solid technical understanding of solar PV and/or battery storage technologies
- Proficient in ERP and project management software (including Procore)
- Strong background in contract management using FIDIC and NEC frameworks
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and vendor management skills
