Competitive Salary
At
Avante Care & Support
, every day, our teams make a real difference to over a thousand people across London and Kent, providing care that's compassionate, person-centred, and grounded in dignity and respect.
We're on an exciting journey of growth and transformation, and we're looking for an inspiring
Operations Director
to drive our services whilst promoting a culture where people feel empowered, trusted and valued.
The Role
This isn't just about running services; it's about shaping the future of how care is delivered. As our Operations Director, you'll lead with purpose, providing vision and direction across all operational areas. You'll drive high performance, accountability and create the conditions for our people to do their best work.
You'll balance operational excellence with commercial insight, helping Avante Care and Support to grow sustainably while staying true to what matters most; the people we support.
We're looking for someone who can think strategically but lead with heart; someone who acts with integrity, inspires confidence, and understands that leadership is as much about listening as it is about doing.
What You'll Bring
You'll be a values-led leader with strong experience operating at a senior level within health or social care — someone who can combine strategic thinking with real-world delivery.
You'll bring:
· A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field, plus evidence of ongoing professional development in leadership or organisational improvement.
· A passionate commitment to person-centred care, aligned with our Eden philosophy
· A proven track record of leading complex, multi-site services, driving quality, performance, and commercial growth.
· Deep understanding of adult social care, CQC regulation, and governance frameworks.
· Strong financial and analytical skills, with the confidence to make data-informed, commercially sound decisions.
· The ability to inspire, empower, and develop others, building a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
· Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the presence to engage partners, regulators, and teams alike.
· Conscious, emotionally intelligent leadership, grounded in self-awareness, empathy, and courage.
Above all, you'll live and breathe Avante's
SPARKLE values
— Supporting, Person-centred, Attentive, Relationship-focused, Kind, Listening, and Enabling — bringing heart, integrity, and purpose to everything you do.
Why Join Us?
At Avante, you'll be part of something that truly matters. You'll work with people who care deeply about person-centred care, and about each other. Together, we're building a future where every person we support can live with purpose, choice, and dignity.
If that sounds like the kind of leadership journey you're ready for, we'd love to hear from you.
