Mere Court Hotel are looking for an experienced and talented Chef de Partie to support our Head Chef in running the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.

· As Chef de Partie, you'll prepare and plate a range of dishes while supervising junior staff to ensure standards are maintained.

· You'll manage day-to-day needs in a busy environment, including shift briefings, stock control and monitoring costs and wastage.

· Working with senior chefs, you'll also ensure legal compliance.

· You'll need to have an Intermediate Food Hygiene level qualification and an understanding of HACCP

· An excellent standard of written and spoken English is also required.

Our ideal candidate has:

· You may have experience in catering as a chef, line cook, breakfast chef, section chef or Chef de Partie in a restaurant, gastro pub or the wider hospitality sector.

· As our chef de Partie you'll be working across all areas of the kitchen, supporting our sous chefs and head chef.

· Strong culinary skills and a love of great food

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, friendly productive environment

· Very high standards of cleanliness and organisation
