Walkers Kitchen is a busy, friendly Restaurant in the heart of Truro, known for our delicious food and great service. We're looking for an experienced and reliable Supervisor to join our team on a Full time, Permanent basis to help keep things running smoothly. If you've got a passion for great food, high standards and excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you

What you will be doing:

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Work with the manager to lead, train and motivate team members to deliver top-quality food and friendly service.
  • Oversee food preparation, frying and portion control to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Handle cashing up, stock control and ordering supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards at all times.
  • Deal with customer queries or complaints professionally and promptly.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in Food Preparation and Cooking.
  • Personally motivated and approachable as well as being able to fit into and create a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a positive attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene or Above with experience in a Café/Restaurant environment.
  • Friendly, confident, able to lead by example and take pride in their work.
  • Flexibility to work to the rota is key.
