We are looking for a reliable Stores Person & Driver for our production unit based in Barrow Upon Soar.

Duties will include:

  • Managing stores and maintaining stock accuracy, supporting production teams ensuring materials are available on time.
  • Record Goods in/out, ensuring quality and quantity are correct and logged, quarterly stock count and maintaining adequate stock levels.
  • Prepare Goods out for deliveries.
  • Make deliveries as and when required using the company vehicle.
  • Adherence to food hygiene and health & safety legislation is very important to us as well as keeping working areas clean and tidy.
  • This role would suit someone who is physically fit and able to move stock easily.

  • Other key skills are good communication skills and being able to work as part of a team.

  • A full UK driving licence is essential, due to company insurance policies this vacancy is only open to over 21s.

  • A valid fork lift licence is essential.
  • Cover on Saturdays may be needed for additional deliveries.

Monday to Friday although some Saturdays may be needed for additional deliveries, in which case a day off in the week will be agreed.
