Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Relief Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic nursery environment.

  • To assist with the smooth day-to-day running of the base rooms
  • Create a safe and stimulating environment where children thrive
  • Organise and plan activities promoting children's individual development and interests
  • To liaise with other professionals and parents and ensure high levels of communication and partnership working are maintained at all times.
  • Work with the team to monitor and evaluate the quality of the service provided
  • Work closely as a key person with children and families
  • Be an effective role model to the children
  • Support practitioners during meal times and activities
  • Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures at all times

Requirements

  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory.
