What You'll Do
The Commercial Support Specialist will in within the Vodafone Business Security Enhanced (VBSE) Commercial team, this exciting new role provides an excellent opportunity for the right quality candidate to grow and quickly develop key Commercial skills, experience, and knowledge related to the delivery of managed services to critical government clients . Working alongside experienced Commercial Managers you will obtain first-hand experience of in-life contract management, both supplier and customer focused.

Other responsibilities include:

  • In-life commercial management – Supporting the Commercial Managers with administrative duties related to contractual obligations
  • Commercial modelling - business case and pricing to ensure profitability of new contracts and any applicable contract variations
  • Drafting of schedules contained in contracts and variations, in collaboration with commercial managers, legal and account team
  • Preparation and provision of regular customer facing reports
  • Assistance with total project forecasting in collaboration with programme and finance colleagues, to ensure project cost control vs business case expectations

Who You Are

  • Previous experience working in a commercial-focused role- Essential
  • Commercial experience in the Defence sector- Essential
  • Experience in Commercial Modeling - Essential
  • Clear verbal and written communication and able to review contracts and commercial agreements- Essential
  • A high degree of attention to detail
  • Numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to influence and stakeholder (external and internal facing)
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)- Essential
