We buy, build, sell, scale, develop, dispose and finance our clients' health and social care property. We have experienced significant growth in our property work in this sector over the last couple of years. This growth is set to continue, with major tender wins on high profile projects and clients across the country.
The team advises all major sub-markets in independent healthcare (including all types of social care, independent hospitals, primary care and retirement living) for the widest range of clients; from investors and funders to developers and operators, consortiums to suppliers.

The role
We are currently looking for an experienced property lawyer to join us on a fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will be a commercial property solicitor able to take on an existing caseload. This role will involve advising clients on the full range of property matters, but with particular emphasis on acquisition and disposals, real estate finance and development work for our wide range of clients within the sector.
The successful candidate will have experience and confidence in dealing with the following:
- Negotiation of acquisitions and disposals (freehold and leasehold);
- Preparation of reports on title, certificates of title and advice notes;
- Corporate support work (such as share or asset purchases/sales;
- Corporate support work such as reviewing, amending and negotiating asset or share purchase agreements and carrying out related due diligence;
- Development projects; and
- Working across legal departments with others as part of a project team
What we are looking for from you
- Experience working on health or social care transactions/ projects highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with a professional approach to work;
- Confidence in working directly with clients;
- An ability to build strong relationships with clients and intermediaries;
- An aptitude for drafting and legal analysis;
- A keenness to work collaboratively with colleagues at junior and senior levels;
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
- A proactive, practical and commercial approach

Our core business hours are 9am - 5:15pm Monday to Friday, but we're open to our people working more flexibly around those times and welcome a conversation with you if you have any questions about this.
