Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to deliver great customer care and service at our Award winning country hotel.

The Front of House Supervisor will be required to oversee the Brasserie on their shift, check-in with customers and have the ability to work under pressure. We'll expect you to lead by example, and ensure the shift runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.

PLEASE NOTE: Live In Accommodation available within the Hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  • Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
  • Organise and supervise shifts
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Manage restaurant's reputation and suggest ways to improve it
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
