Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising front-of-house staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate front-of-house team members, including serving staff and hosts, to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Assist in training new staff on service procedures, food safety protocols, and customer engagement techniques
  • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and customer flow during busy periods
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all front-of-house activities
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve any complaints promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction
  • Support the kitchen team with food production when necessary, ensuring timely delivery of orders
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area in accordance with hygiene standards

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong team management and leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
  • Experience in serving, hospitality, or hotel environments is desirable
  • Ability to oversee food production processes and ensure quality control
  • Familiarity with kitchen operations, culinary practices, and barista skills are advantageous
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
