Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our new buffet restaurant, opened in August.

As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive guest experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
  • Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality, providing help and support to colleagues as needed.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and patrons.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with bartending techniques and beverage preparation is advantageous.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to food safety practices is essential for maintaining hygiene standards.
  • A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to foster positive interactions with guests.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
