Mixologist/Bartender

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beverages, and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with established recipes and standards
• Engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend drinks accordingly
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
• Manage stock levels, restock supplies, and assist with inventory control
• Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system efficiently
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to licensing laws
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
• Keep up-to-date with new cocktail trends, techniques, and ingredients to enhance offerings

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or as a bartender/mixologist is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Excellent serving skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• A personable attitude with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences
