Project Coordinator (Committee and Campaign Support)
Location: Central London (Hybrid – 2 days in office / 2 days remote)
Salary: Approx. £19.00 per hour
Contract: 6-month contract, ending 29 May 2026
Hours: 28 hours per week
Interviews: ASAP – with a view to a start shortly thereafter
We're looking for a
Project Coordinator
to join the Strategic Communications team at a Royal College, supporting policy, campaigns, and committee work. This is a fast-paced, high-profile role ideal for someone organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple tasks and stakeholders.
What you'll do:
- Support committees: schedule meetings, prepare agendas and papers, take accurate minutes, and follow up on actions.
- Manage consultations, surveys, and endorsement requests, ensuring timely logging, triage, and responses.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline projects and communication.
- Support College events, including strategic communications meetings, lectures, and briefings.
- Maintain accurate records, platforms, and processes to improve efficiency.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong organisational skills, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience providing administrative support, including minute-taking and committee management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, showing initiative and attention to detail.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to shifting priorities.
Desirable:
- Experience in a Royal College, membership organisation, or similar institution.
Interviews to take place ASAP with a view to a start thereafter.
