A unique opportunity has arisen for a commercially astute and hands-on finance leader to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary business. This newly created job is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in a cross-functional environment and is passionate about driving performance through financial insight and operational collaboration. As Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging finance, strategy, and operations. This is not a traditional finance role - it demands someone who can think beyond the numbers, influence senior stakeholders, and lead initiatives that directly impact business outcomes.

You will:

  • Lead financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting.
  • Act as a strategic business partner, supporting procurement, commercial negotiations, and planning.
  • Deliver financial modelling and scenario analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with business goals.

About You
You are a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in senior financial leadership. You bring:

  • Strong financial management and control expertise.
  • Commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach suited to a fast-paced environment.

This role is aimed at experienced accountants looking to work either full or part time, the work pattern can be flexed to suit the individual. We are only considering candidates who live in the local area and have a right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not an option for this role.
