Security Operational Support Supervisor

Location: Crewe

Hours: Various hours, flexible to the business

Salary: £12.40 per hour

About the Role

Alpha Omega Securities is looking for a reliable, proactive, and professional Security Operational Support Supervisor to join our Operations Team based in Crewe.

This is a varied and dynamic position providing essential support to our operational functions — including the Control Room Operators, Mobile Patrol Officers, Transport Drivers, and Management. The successful candidate will be adaptable, demonstrate initiative, and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

As an Operational Support Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting site visits to ensure compliance with company and client standards
  • Inducting and onboarding new members of staff onto operational sites
  • Recording and reporting incidents, occurrences, and operational updates accurately
  • Responding to alarm activations received by the Control Room
  • Securing and unlocking customer sites as required
  • Conducting investigations into incidents or operational concerns
  • Providing ad-hoc support to the Control Room and Mobile Patrol Teams as directed by management
  • Assisting with operational planning and communication between field teams and management

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be professional, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of service.

You must have:

  • Minimum of 12 months experience working in the security industry (operational or supervisory role preferred)
  • A valid front-line SIA Licence ( Door Supervisor, or Close Protection)
  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • A good level of English reading and writing
  • The ability to provide a full 5-year background check in line with BS7858 screening standards
