Job Summary

M&A Traffic Management Solutions Ltd are seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Manager (Traffic Management) to take ownership of our newly awarded contract.

The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact for the client, overseeing all Traffic Management operations, resourcing, logistics, and financial tracking. You will work closely with our operations and management teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of all projects under this framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between M&A Traffic Management and Client, maintaining a strong, professional relationship.
  • Plan and allocate all resources, including operatives, supervisors, and equipment.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and shift patterns for field teams working across Scotland & Northern England.
  • Liaise with our internal operations team to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Oversee project invoicing, time sheet verification, and cost tracking.
  • Ensure all works are delivered in full compliance with Chapter 8 and Lantra NHSS 12A/B & 12D requirements.
  • Monitor quality, safety, and performance KPIs, reporting regularly to senior management.
  • Identify operational improvements and efficiencies across the contract.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a Traffic Management planning or supervisory role (Project Manager / Senior Planner / Contract Coordinator level).
  • Excellent knowledge of Traffic Management operations, safety standards, and NHSS requirements.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD or TM planning software is advantageous.
  • Financial awareness for managing budgets and invoicing accuracy.
  • Lantra NHSS M7 or equivalent qualification desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
