We're Hiring Preschool Teacher / Room Lead

30–40 Hours Per Week – Family Nurseries Newport

About the Role

As our Preschool Teacher/Lead, you will:

  • Champion high-quality teaching and learning for our 3–4-year-olds
  • Lead your room team with confidence, positivity, and professionalism
  • Plan engaging, child-centred activities that spark imagination and support school readiness
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with children and families
  • Model excellent practice in line with the EYFS
  • Help create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can thrive

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 or above in Early Years (Level 6/QTS desirable but not essential)
  • Experience in a preschool or nursery leadership role
  • Strong understanding of child development and EYFS curriculum
  • A kind, confident communicator who can motivate others
  • A passion for play-based learning and child-led exploration
