The position would be either in our Toddler room (2-3years) or our Preschool (3-4years). Ensuring that all children's needs are met by child centred planning, tailoring learning, play and exploration for each child. Childs voice is the main focus.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement age-appropriate invitations to play/provocations

- Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment

- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns

- Conduct regular assessments to track each child's development

- Collaborate with other practitioners to ensure a cohesive and positive nursery experience

  • Actively use our online system to update parents daily

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting

- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children

- Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, prevent duty and food hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain)

- High school diploma or equivalent

Training and Development

Job Type: Full-time or part time (5 hour shifts, 6 hour shifts, 8 hour shifts)

Salary: £23,960.00-£25,600.00 per year
