Role description

We are seeking an experienced IT & Web Specialist with a proven track record in managing IT systems, cybersecurity, and digital operations. This is a hybrid contract role, based in London, involving both remote and on-site work as required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure and efficient IT infrastructure, managing passwords and user accounts, resolving technical issues, and supporting day-to-day operations. You will also assist with updating and uploading content to our WordPress website when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and secure user accounts, passwords, and access permissions
  • Maintain, monitor, and enhance network and system security
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve IT and technical issues efficiently
  • Implement and uphold best practices in cybersecurity
  • Perform regular system updates, maintenance, and backups
  • Update and upload content to the company's WordPress website
  • Provide responsive, professional IT support and excellent customer service

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven track record in IT system administration and cybersecurity
  • Strong knowledge of network management, password administration, and security protocols
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress (updates, uploads, and troubleshooting)
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, Network+, Microsoft, etc.) are advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred
  • Must be willing to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
