About the Role
The CRM & Web Specialist plays a key role in the marketing team, focusing on customer engagement and digital experience. This role manages the CRM platform and website to ensure effective customer communication, seamless user journeys, and data-driven optimisation that supports awareness, engagement, and conversion goals.
Working cross-functionally with teams such as Paid Media, Content, and Social, the CRM & Web Specialist ensures all digital touchpoints deliver consistent and engaging experiences that strengthen customer relationships.
Tasks & Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
CRM Management
- Manage day-to-day operations of the CRM platform, including data quality, segmentation, and campaign execution.
- Plan, build, and deploy email campaigns that nurture leads, engage customers, and support retention goals.
- Develop and optimise automated journeys and triggered communications based on customer lifecycle and behaviour.
- Track, analyse, and report on CRM performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions), identifying opportunities to enhance engagement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align CRM activity with broader marketing and business objectives.
Website Management
- Own and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy, brand alignment, and a strong user experience.
- Update and optimise web pages through the CMS, implementing SEO and UX best practices.
- Coordinate with designers, copywriters, and developers to brief and publish new web content.
- Monitor site analytics and performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve traffic and conversion rates.
- Ensure all website activity aligns with marketing campaigns, promotions, and lead-generation initiatives.
Campaign & Cross-Channel Support
- Support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring CRM and web activity are fully aligned.
- Create campaign landing pages and ensure CRM integrations support campaign tracking and lead capture.
- Maintain brand consistency and tone of voice across CRM, web, and digital channels.
Reporting & Insights
- Produce regular performance reports on CRM and website metrics, highlighting trends and actionable insights.
- Work with analytics teams or tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tag Manager, or CRM dashboards) to drive continuous optimisation.
- Leverage insights to test and improve user journeys, content performance, and email effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years' experience in CRM and website management, ideally in a digital marketing or e-commerce environment.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Adobe Campaign, or similar).
- Proficient in CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, or similar).
- Solid understanding of web analytics, SEO, UX principles, and digital tracking.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
