Job Summary

We are seeking an organised Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, and overseeing various events from conception to completion. This role requires excellent communication skills, and an ability to work with a range of individuals.

Duties

  • Plan and execute events.
  • Develop strategies to promote events.
  • Promote events using social media.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of events to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Monitor budgets throughout the planning process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after events.
  • Maintain detailed records of contracts, invoices, and event plans for future reference.

Experience

  • Experience in event planning or coordination is essential.
  • Strong background in social media.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong negotiation skills is required.

This is a part time role for a few hours per week but will vary depending on seasonal events so flexibility is essential.
