Front Desk Receptionist - Mytton Fold Hotel

Mtton Fold is an independently owned hotel boasting a great location, 36 bedrooms, 2 bar areas, 4 function rooms plus a restaurant. Having undergone a two major refurbishment programs, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, customer focused Front Desk Receptionist to join our team and deliver excellent customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day running of the reception area, answering calls, handling guest enquiries, checking guests in and out, taking reservations.
  • Work closely with other hotel departments, especially housekeeping, to ensure rooms are ready for guests to check in.
  • Welcoming guests to the hotel and register guests as they arrive.
  • Operating the main switchboard.
  • Receive the payments for accommodation and allocate the rooms to guests.
  • Deal with the requests of the guests such as providing extra bedding and ad hoc requests.
  • Be able to assist in other areas of the hotel as required.

Person:

  • Previous experience within a similar Hotel Receptionist role.
  • Outgoing and friendly with a genuine belief in delivering great Customer Service.
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • A friendly individual with a positive, resourceful attitude is essential.
  • A 'can do' approach to ensure our guests and customers have the very best experience..
