About the role:

Are you someone who loves creating great first impressions? This is your chance to be the welcoming face of EG On the Move at our Waterside Head Office. As our receptionist, you'll play a key role in making everyone who walks through our doors feel valued and supported.

You will greet visitors, manage front desk operations, handle calls and emails, and support day-to-day admin to keep things running smoothly. If you are friendly, organised, and love being at the heart of the office – we would love to hear from you

Working Hours:

Monday – Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Thursday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

What you'll do:

  • Serve as the first point of contact by welcoming visitors and clients with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Manage all incoming communications, including calls and emails, ensuring timely and accurate message handling.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming front-of-house environment, including reception, meeting rooms, and common areas.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, manage courier services, and oversee franking machine usage.
  • Monitor and replenish office and cleaning supplies to support smooth daily operations.
  • Supervise front-of-house standards, including tidiness and cleanliness, and liaise with cleaning staff as required.
  • Accurately maintain records, spreadsheets, and office systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Ensure company literature and materials are current, organised, and appropriately displayed.
  • Provide administrative support such as document preparation, filing, scanning, and shredding.
  • Report and escalate facilities or equipment issues promptly to management, ensuring resolution.
  • Perform additional administrative and office support duties as needed to ensure efficient operations.

  • 1+ year in a receptionist or similar customer-facing role
  • Friendly, professional, and confident communication style
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Proactive, flexible, and happy to support where needed.
  • Able to work independently and as part of the wider Head Office team.
