About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our expanding Construction division, specialising in white-collar recruitment across the UK.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong commercial mindset, excellent relationship-building skills, and a genuine interest in the construction industry. You will be responsible for developing and managing long-term client partnerships across areas such as Design, Project Management, Estimating, and Site Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and senior decision-makers across the construction sector.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through strategic outreach, networking, and market research.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Consultants to ensure client requirements are clearly understood and roles are successfully filled.
  • Manage the full business development cycle, from prospecting and pitching through to client onboarding and account management.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy and identify growth opportunities.

About You

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or recruitment, within white-collar construction.
  • Strong understanding of the UK construction market and its key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to build strategic and long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and target-driven.
