We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Housekeeper.

This position is 24-42 hours per week, 12 hour shifts working every other weekend.

The role would include:

  • Carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Head Housekeeper to company standards. Cleaning responsibilities can be anywhere within the Unit.
  • Ensure all daily and deep clean schedules are adhered to.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is stored safely and used correctly. Report any defects to the Head Housekeeper.
  • To be sensitive to the privacy and dignity of the service users and their individual needs.
  • To comply with COSHH regulations.
  • To adhere to infection control policies at all times.
  • To ensure correct use of PPE.
  • To ensure all necessary documentation is completely daily.
  • To carry out any other domestic related duties as requested by the Head Housekeeper.
  • To ensure correct cleaning products are used for specific areas and follow the colour coded systems within the unit.
  • To ensure the trolley's are restocked at the end of the shift and cleaning cupboards are kept clean and tidy.
  • To ensure good communication between the post holder, the Head Housekeeper, the ward teams and the service users.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Must have legal right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.

Job Type: Full-time
