ACCOUNTS TECHNICIAN VACANCY

The company is an established international award-winning publisher of the finest quality motoring books. Operating from the same office, its sister company manages two classic car clubs which have a worldwide membership - the Jaguar XK Club and E-type Club.

The office premises are a 16th century thatched barn in the village of Knighton-on-Teme near Tenbury Wells. As the office is in a rural location being a car driver is a requirement.

We are currently looking for an Accounts Technician to work alongside and in support of the Financial Director and Management Accountant.

We would like to hear from you if you have ACCOUNTS EXPERIENCE including:

A solid knowledge of computerised stock control

Experience of Sage Accounts 50 Professional – preferred

AAT training or equivalent

Are able to multi-task

Are able to achieve a high level of accuracy

And enjoy variety in your work

The role includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Sales orders and invoice processing
• Inventory processing and control (weekly overview, periodical stock takes, etc)
• Processing of routine bank transactions
• Processing of routine supplier invoices
• Petty cash (usually event – related)
• Pre and Post Event preparation (float, stock reconciliation, eCommerce product updates and invoicing)
• Credit control, queries and correspondence, as required
• Administrative support for the Accounts Team

The role is part-time and is not suitable for hybrid working.

Experience in international eCommerce advantageous.
