We are looking to appoint a committed professional to the role of
Teaching Assistant
at William Perkin CE High School. William Perkin Church of England High School was opened in 2013 and is part of the Twyford Church of England Academies Trust. Its GCSE results place it within the top 5% of schools nationally. The school is founded on the successful systems and approaches of Twyford Trust, with the principle difference that it is a distinctively Christian school with open admission criteria. The school is rated 'Outstanding' in all areas by Ofsted (June 2015) and SIAMS (October 2016) and is oversubscribed on first choice applicants.

Teaching Assistants are required to support students in Years 7 – 11 with statements of Special Education Need, and to take the lead responsibility for students with learning and behavioural difficulties.

These roles may also suit graduates hoping to progress to Educational Psychologist or Speech and Language Therapist.

Roles are up to 35 hours per week however part-time applications can be considered, particularly for three or four days per week. Exact hours per week will be discussed and agreed at interview and the salary will therefore be a pro rata figure according to the hours worked.
