Primary Teaching Assistant | Ealing, London | Immediate Start

Ribbons & Reeves specialise in launching the careers of aspiring Primary Teachers. We support them by helping them to secure a full academic year of classroom experience through our long-term Primary Teaching Assistant placements.

If you are a Graduate with a 2:1 or above degree classification who is committed to commencing a career within Primary Education, this Primary Teaching Assistant role will be the perfect stepping-stone for you

Starting from November and lasting for the duration of the 2025–2026 academic year, our Primary Teaching Assistant roles will allow you to get fully immersed within the day-to-day life of nurturing, inclusive Primary Schools.

Primary Teaching Assistant | The role:

  • Providing in-class support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Running small group and 1:1 intervention for pupils who need additional help
  • Supporting children with SEND or EAL needs
  • Assisting with lesson preparation, resources, and classroom management

Primary Teaching Assistant | What We're looking for:

  • A 2:1 or First-Class degree in relevant subjects
  • A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Commitment from November 2025 to July 2026
