Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Front of House Team Members to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional guest service, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry, and provide a welcoming atmosphere focused on teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable from arrival to departure
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when appropriate
  • Serve food and beverages with professionalism and attentiveness
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
  • Handle guest enquiries promptly and courteously, resolving any issues to ensure satisfaction
  • Upsell menu items and special offers to maximise sales opportunities
  • Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed during service periods
  • Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities
  • Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Experience in serving, culinary arts, or kitchen environments is a plus but not mandatory
  • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
