About the team
Deliveroo's Marketing Effectiveness team works within the Global Marketing Organisation, whose mission is to build a brand that is consistent and scalable across markets, but is also relevant and loved locally. The Marketing Effectiveness Team's mission is to create a complete understanding of marketing effectiveness — how our activity, channels, messages and tactics influence customer perception, behaviour and business outcomes, building the tools, data and culture that enable Deliveroo to test, learn and continually improve — ensuring every marketing decision drives growth and efficiency at pace.
About the role
As a Marketing Effectiveness Analyst, you'll play a key role in measuring and optimising the impact of our marketing investments. You'll own and maintain key dashboards and trackers — from MMM results to campaign and brand performance — ensuring consistent, high-quality data. Working closely with Data Science, you'll help shape our marketing taxonomy and provide insights that drive smarter, more effective marketing decisions. You will also support our brand and campaign teams in setting up and running effective marketing tests, furthering our understanding of best practise within Marketing.
What you'll be doing
Maintain and evolve the Marketing Effectiveness Dashboard, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across MMM, brand, and campaign performance.
Partner with the Data Science team to manage and update the marketing data taxonomy, connecting campaign activity through to budget and performance tracking.
Input, track, and validate data across Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), Brand Metrics, Campaign Trackers, and Budget Trackers to ensure robust insight generation.
Analyse marketing data to identify performance trends and provide actionable insights that inform marketing strategy and budget allocation.
Collaborate with brand, performance, and planning teams to ensure marketing effectiveness insights are integrated into decision-making.
Support the communication of effectiveness findings across the organisation, helping marketing teams understand drivers of growth and ROI.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (Marketing or Business preferred) or strong relevant experience
Experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or a similar role (experience in a marketing, insights, or data environment preferred).
Comfortable working with large datasets and using analytical tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, or BI platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high data quality across multiple dashboards and trackers.
Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple inputs and stakeholders effectively.
Clear communication skills, able to translate data into simple, actionable insights for marketing teams.
A natural team player who loves working at pace, collaboratively with a variety of different teams
Why Deliveroo
Our mission is to transform the way you shop and eat, bringing the neighbourhood to your door by connecting consumers, restaurants, shops and riders. We are transforming the way the world eats and shops by making access to food and products more convenient and enjoyable. We give people the opportunity to buy what they want, as they want it, when and where they want it.
We are a technology-driven company at the forefront of the most rapidly expanding industry in the world. We are still a small team, making a very large impact, looking to answer some of the most interesting questions out there. We move fast, value autonomy and ownership, and we are always looking for new ideas.
Workplace & Benefits
At Deliveroo we know that people are the heart of the business and we prioritise their welfare. Benefits differ by country, but we offer many benefits in areas including healthcare, well-being, parental leave, pensions, and generous annual leave allowances, including time off to support a charitable cause of your choice. Benefits are country-specific, please ask your recruiter for more information.
Diversity
At Deliveroo, we believe a great workplace is one that represents the world we live in and how beautifully diverse it can be. That means we have no judgement when it comes to any one of the things that make you who you are - your gender, race, sexuality, religion or a secret aversion to coriander. All you need is a passion for (most) food and a desire to be part of one of the fastest-growing businesses in a rapidly growing industry.
We are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion in all aspects of our hiring process. We recognise that some candidates may require adjustments to apply for a position or fairly participate in the interview process. If you require any adjustments, please don't hesitate to let us know. We will make every effort to provide the necessary adjustments to ensure you have an equitable opportunity to succeed.
