Catering Manager 2

Sodexo is seeking a Catering Manager 2 to lead and oversee all catering operations across the Novant Health Coastal Region, which encompasses five hospitals in the Wilmington, NC area. This position plays a key role in delivering Sodexo's commitment to excellence in customer service, quality, and operational performance.
What You'll DoThe Catering Manager 2 will work collaboratively with onsite management teams at each hospital and maintain direct client and customer relationships to ensure a seamless and exceptional catering experience across all locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and manage all catering operations across five hospital sites within the Coastal Region.
Collaborate with onsite General Managers and Food & Nutrition leaders to ensure consistency and quality in all catering services.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and customers to ensure satisfaction and responsiveness to catering needs.
Plan and execute events ranging from small meetings to large-scale hospital and community functions.
Oversee menu planning, event logistics, staffing, and budget management to ensure successful execution.
Ensure compliance with Sodexo and client standards for food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
Lead, train, and develop catering staff to promote operational excellence and customer service standards.
Support regional initiatives and contribute to business growth opportunities within the account portfolio.

What You Bring- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of on-site and off-site catering events
- Serve as the primary liaison for the VIP client, building trust-based relationships
- Collaborate with culinary leadership to design seasonal, creative, and client-focused menus
- Manage event logistics including staffing, equipment, timelines, and communications
- Inspire and train service teams to deliver elevated hospitality and presentation
- Maintain budget oversight, cost control, and accurate post-event reporting
- Ensure brand consistency and alignment with The Good Eating Company's standards
- Partner with operations and marketing to develop unique activations and experiences
