Role Overview

The Creative Graphic Designer is a role that combines:

  • Creative direction — owning the visual identity of the brand, and
  • Hands-on graphic design — personally creating the majority of design assets across selling platforms, packaging, PR, and social platforms.

This role plays a critical part in driving conversion, ranking speed, customer trust, and brand credibility through premium visual content.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hands-On Graphic Design

You will personally design:

  • Full product image stacks
  • A+ Content modules for Amazon listings
  • Brand Story layouts
  • Comparison charts
  • Technical diagrams
  • Lifestyle overlays and scenes
  • Social proof / review quote graphics
  • Packaging and box artwork
  • Insert cards (Quick Start, Troubleshooting, Warranty, Best Results, etc.)
  • Storefront visuals
  • Seasonal and promotional graphics (Prime Day, Black Friday, Q4, etc.)
  • PR assets (press-quality images, badges, award integrations)
  • Social media visuals

2. Creative Direction & Branding

  • Own brand's full visual identity and creative guidelines
  • Ensure consistency across all selling channels, packaging, inserts, PR, and social
  • Develop and evolve internal image frameworks and A+ structures
  • Direct product photography and videography, create shot lists and storyboards
  • Guarantee clean, premium, conversion-first design

3. Amazon Creative Ownership You will lead creative for all product launches:

  • Creative planning, storyboard, shot list
  • Photograph / video direction, raw visual capture
  • Image stack build, A+ content, storefront update
  • Final edits, compliance checks, uploads
  • A/B tests, review quote additions, PR badge integrations
  • Seasonal refreshes, conversion optimisations

4. Packaging & Instructional Creative

  • Create packaging artwork, icons, compliance diagrams
  • Produce all inserts using clarity-first design to reduce customer confusion
  • Work with QC and Sourcing teams to ensure technical accuracy

5. Collaboration With Core Departments

  • Amazon Growth Manager: optimise for CTR, CVR, and ranking
  • PR Manager: supply award-ready assets and PR visuals
  • Sourcing Manager: convert specs into clean technical diagrams
  • Production Coordinator: packaging alignment, insert placement

6. Light Team Management

  • Oversee freelancers as needed (photographers, video editors, extra designers)
  • Approve external work to ensure brand consistency
  • Maintain structure and organisation across multiple projects

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years hands-on graphic design experience
  • Strong portfolio with product design, Amazon visuals, or e-commerce assets
  • Expert in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and ideally Premiere/After Effects
  • Experience creating conversion-focused graphics
  • Knowledge of photography and video direction
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high volume at high quality
  • Strong understanding of brand systems, composition, and typography
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisatio
