Based near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, Signscope Design is looking for a dedicated, trainee sign maker/fitter to join us and help grow this ambitious business.

Reporting directly to the founder/owner, this is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to start a career in this industry.

**The Job**

You must be hard working, have excellent attention to detail, be positive and self-motivated with an enthusiastic approach. Our expanding customer base and high workload mean you will need to be comfortable working under pressure to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality output.

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Make all types of signs and graphics using vinyl plotters, large format printers & laminators, heat press equipment.
- Use a tape measure and other measuring tools. Attention to detail and working to accurate measurements is very important in this industry.
- Digging holes for posts. Use digging tools such as shovels and post hole diggers, generators, pipe and cable scanners, breakers.
- Install all types of signs, banners, large format print and vehicle graphics.
- Installations will be both inside and outside, using access equipment, ladders, scaffolding towers, etc both at Signscope Design’s workshop and throughout the country at customer premises. You must be comfortable working at height.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the workshop, company vehicles and on customer premises following all health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and tidy personal appearance.
- Be friendly, committed, and professional throughout all aspects of the role.
- Work independently and as part of a team, using your own initiative and having a can-do attitude.
- Drive and clean company vehicles - full UK driving licence required.
- CSCS, PASMA and IPAF certifications would be beneficial but not essential.

**Starting Salary**

Starting salary range is £20,800 - £25,000 per year based on your ability / previous working experience (reviewed annually).
