The Role

This position combines technical expertise with commercial acumen. You'll take ownership of corporate tax compliance while also contributing to advisory projects on restructuring, R&D tax reliefs, and international matters. The role is suited to someone who
enjoys building strong client relationships
and taking initiative to spot opportunities for
tax planning and process improvement
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage corporate tax compliance for a diverse client base, ensuring deadlines and standards are consistently met.
  • Deliver high-quality advisory support on corporate structuring, R&D tax claims, and transactional tax.
  • Identify and implement tax planning opportunities, working alongside Partners and the wider advisory team.
  • Develop and maintain trusted client relationships, acting as a key point of contact.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, supporting their technical development and workflow management.
  • Contribute to internal process improvements and departmental growth initiatives.

About You

  • ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Solid background in corporate tax compliance and advisory within a practice environment.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation.
  • Strong communication and client management skills.
  • Confident managing your own portfolio and overseeing junior team members.
  • Self-motivated, commercially aware, and able to thrive in a collaborative setting.
