Trainee Construction Project Manager

Job description
KDH Projects are a construction company, established 2001, working within the food and beverage industry. The long and short of it is we build and refurbish food factories all over the UK. KDH Projects are currently looking to fill a new role. We are looking to take on Project Assistants to work alongside the Project Directors, visiting sites, meeting clients, checking project timescales and progress, attending meetings etc. This is with the hope to progress up the chain and become a Project Manager in the long run.
Job responsibilities include :
- You will be working alongside the Project Directors for numerous consecutive contract works.
- You will assist the Project Director in planning projects, arranging materials with the purchasing department, writing method statements and risk assessments and organising labour with HR.
- The Project Director will delegate a range of responsibilities to you over time, to develop your skills and experience and support effective project delivery.
- You will need to deliver the high service demanded by our customers by acting in good faith and as required by KDH, to promote the success of the company and maintain high standards of business conduct.
Required experience:
- Experience of the food industry would be beneficial. Experience within the construction industry would be beneficial.
- Proven track record as an individual who is able to deliver effectively and on time.
- Excellent problem solving, planning and progress control skills are essential.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
- Understanding critical path analysis and application.
- Excellent Customer care skills both face to face and in written communication.
- Successful ability to work to targets
- Have a full driving license and must be happy travelling

Would be beneficial if you have SMSTS or IOSH training but not essential some training will be provided.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
