How You'll Play Your Part
We're looking for a highly motivated, forward-thinking leader, with a proven track record of steering business performance at both strategic and operational levels, driving transparency, accountability, and delivering measurable impact on P&L outcomes,

You will play a pivotal role in steering the financial performance of Mercedes-Benz Vans UK, acting as a strategic partner to the Managing Director, CFO and the senior leadership team, ensuring data-driven decision-making and financial transparency across all business functions. You'll combine sharp strategic insight with hands-on operational excellence, turning complex financial data into clear, actionable guidance that drives the business forward.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a key financial partner to the MD, CFO, and UK Board, shaping strategy, defining the UK financial and controlling framework in line with global standards, and leading the evaluation of major strategic initiatives across pricing, network development, digitalisation, and electrification.
  • Lead end-to-end performance management, driving planning, forecasting, governance, KPI setting, and profitability analysis to ensure clarity, and delivery of financial targets.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Controlling team, drive cross-functional collaboration across UK and global finance, represent the Vans UK finance function in key steering forums, and uphold the highest standards of governance and integrity.

What You'll Bring

  • A strategic, commercially minded thinker who is resilient, adaptable, and energised by complexity, ambiguity, and transformation.
  • Senior-level experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Finance leadership within a complex, matrixed environment, ideally in the automotive or premium-brand space.
  • Exceptional stakeholder and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge thinking and build alignment across teams and senior leaders.
  • Strong mastery of financial systems, controlling frameworks, and data analytics, with a passion for turning insight into action.

At Mercedes-Benz, we operate with integrity and therefore you are required to maintain ethical standards in accordance with our polices and adhere to the Company's Compliance Guidelines and Policies including Anti-Bribery and all relevant competition law.

As well as the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, with a great team and culture, we'll offer you a competitive salary and discretionary bonus structure. We also hope you'll love our products as much as we do, with access to our colleague car schemes. We're here to support you – we offer access to colleague wellbeing resources, including an Employee Assistance Programme and Mental health First Aiders, as well as flexible opportunities to support work life balance. We'll also encourage your development, with the training and knowledge you need to reach your potential.
