Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal preparation and food assembly, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards
  • Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients and following recipes accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen surfaces
  • Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
  • Help with serving food to customers or guests in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Restock supplies and organise storage areas to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Follow health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Basic understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
