Reservationist

KINGSMILLS HOTEL , INVERNESS - PART-TIME RESERVATIONIST

24 hours Per week - Fixed days Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and one other day with one Saturday per month.

Position to start in January 2026

The Kingsmills Hotel Group consists of the luxury 4-star Kingsmills and 5-star Ness Walk hotels. Located in the Scottish Highland capital of Inverness, we have an outstanding reputation for warm hospitality

We are currently seeking a Part-time Reservationist to join our current Team. You will be working within a busy office being manned between the hours of 09.00am-18.00pm (Saturday pm), fixed days of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday plus one other day and usually one Saturday per month.

Key Responsibilities -

• Manage incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Provide detailed information about accommodations, amenities, and services offered.
• Assist guests with special requests and ensure their needs are met throughout the booking process.
• Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest information in the system.
• Handle changes or cancellations of reservations professionally and courteously.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay.
• Stay informed about local attractions and events to provide recommendations to guests.

Skills Required

• Strong background in hospitality, with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Excellent phone etiquette, ensuring clear and professional communication at all times.
• Proven ability to provide exceptional guest services, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Familiarity with hotel operations and reservation systems is an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail in managing bookings and guest information.

• Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Kingsmills Brand. You have a positive "can do" attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
• A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
• You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way

We are looking for a strong candidate who has previous experience within a Front Desk/Reservations Role.
