About the Role

We're looking for a Chief of Staff to join our leadership team in Greenock and act as a strategic right hand to the CEO. This is a pivotal role designed for a high-performing, highly organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

As Chief of Staff, you'll act as a trusted advisor and operational partner to the CEO, bridging the gap between strategy and execution. You'll ensure company priorities are delivered efficiently and to a high standard – from driving cross-functional initiatives to supporting leadership planning and safeguarding key relationships.

This position combines the strategic oversight of a Chief of Staff with the precision, discretion, and coordination of an Executive Assistant. It's a pivotal role for a commercially astute, solutions-driven individual who takes ownership, anticipates needs and keeps things moving seamlessly at executive level.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys making things happen, who can see both the big picture and the small details, and who wants to play a central role in scaling a high-growth global business.

Who You Are

You're a detail-focused, dependable professional with a natural ability to create structure in dynamic environments. You're comfortable switching between strategic thinking and hands-on execution – connecting people, processes, and priorities to ensure smooth operations.

You're commercially minded, resourceful and confident engaging with senior stakeholders. You can anticipate needs, act independently and deliver under pressure with professionalism and discretion.

This position would suit someone with experience in strategy, operations or senior executive support, who's ready to step into a high-impact leadership partnership role within a growing international company.

Why This Role Matters - Key Responsibilities

· Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, ensuring company priorities are executed on time and to a high standard.

· Drive alignment across departments, connecting strategy to execution and ensuring accountability for key outcomes.

· Manage and support cross-functional projects such as process improvements and business transformation.

· Prepare materials for board meetings, investor updates and leadership reviews, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and impact.

· Support the CEO with planning, communication, and decision-making, maximising focus on the highest-impact initiatives.

· Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities across the organisation, taking ownership of solutions.

· Support the leadership team to ensure company goals, KPIs and 90-day plans are delivered and tracked.

· Step in where needed for the CEO ensuring progress never stalls.

· Provide executive coordination, including diary, travel, and event management where required to support strategic priorities.

· Champion HR initiatives and workplace culture, supporting talent, engagement and communication across the business.

· Safeguard confidential information and manage sensitive business and people matters with absolute discretion.

· Act as a central connector across functions, helping teams stay aligned on company goals and priorities

Essential Skills

· 4+ years' experience in a strategic, operational, or executive support role (e.g. Chief of Staff, Strategy Manager, Operations Lead, or Senior EA).

· Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and delivering outcomes in fast-paced environments.

· Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.

· Strong commercial understanding and analytical capability.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

· Confident preparing executive reports, presentations and board materials.

· Skilled at managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

· Discreet, dependable and comfortable managing sensitive information.
