Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills in hair cutting, styling, and various treatments, while also engaging with customers to enhance their overall experience.

Duties

  • Perform a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs.
  • Provide additional services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application as required.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the salon environment.
  • Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer personalised recommendations.
  • Upsell products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
  • Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling and customer inquiries.
  • Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive working environment.

Experience

  • Proven experience in hair styling, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Skills in barbering are advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Previous experience in store management or front desk operations is beneficial.
  • A passion for mentoring others and sharing knowledge within the team.
  • Familiarity with upselling techniques and product knowledge is preferred. Join us in creating beautiful transformations for our clients while being part of a supportive and creative team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
