Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service while showcasing their creativity and technical skills in hair styling. This role involves not only delivering high-quality hair services but also mentoring junior stylists, upselling products and services, and contributing to the overall success of the salon.

Duties

  • Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs.
  • Perform additional services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application as required.
  • Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional advice on styles and products.
  • Upsell salon products and services to enhance client experience and satisfaction.
  • Mentor junior stylists, sharing expertise and techniques to foster their development.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
  • Contribute to store management tasks as needed, ensuring smooth salon operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Experience in barbering is advantageous but not essential.
  • Familiarity with eyelash extensions and makeup application is preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service is essential for providing an exceptional client experience.
  • Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining integrity in client interactions.
  • Organised approach to work with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
  • A valid hairdressing qualification or equivalent certification is required.
