Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the administrative tasks that keep our dental practice running smoothly. This role requires a friendly disposition, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Schedule appointments and manage the dentist's calendar efficiently
  • Handle patient inquiries via phone and in person, providing accurate information about services
  • Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
  • Process payments and manage billing inquiries
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the day
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management

Skills

  • Previous office experience is essential; experience in a dental or healthcare setting is advantageous
  • Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in using office software and managing correspondence
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • A friendly and approachable demeanour that puts patients at ease
