Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to customers, handling inquiries efficiently, and ensuring a positive experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The position offers an opportunity to develop professional skills within a dynamic environment.

Salary £30,000

Hours 8:30 to 5:00 Monday to Friday

12:00 to 12:30 lunch break

Duties

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
  • Manage customer accounts through accurate data entry and record keeping.
  • Assist customers with product or service information, troubleshooting issues, and resolving complaints.
  • Upsell additional products or services where appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and company revenue.
  • Analyse customer feedback and interactions to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain high standards of phone etiquette and communication skills during all interactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery across all channels.
  • Support administrative tasks such as updating customer information and processing transactions.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy is required.
  • Experience with upselling techniques and analysis of customer data will be beneficial.
  • Excellent typing skills, phone etiquette, interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism are crucial.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
