Job Description
Sapphire Homes are seeking a New Team Member to join the Sales Team at our Wigan Town Centre Office - 80 Market Street, Wigan, WN1 1HX. The role will be reporting to both the Senior Sales Negotiator and Directors but also providing some occasional administration support on the phones across both areas of the business (sales / lettings) .
HOURS - Monday to Friday - 9.00am Until 5.00pm and 8 Saturdays Per Year - 9am Until 1pm (Saturdays at Wigan Office)
HOLIDAYS: 20 Days (Plus 8 Bank Holidays). 4 Additional Days as Time off in Lieu for the Christmas Shutdown from Working the 8 Saturdays.
The ideal candidate must be well presented, reliable, have a good telephone manner and work well within a team and small office environment.
Requirements:
Preferred 2 Years Experience within Property Sales
Preferred 2 Years Experience within an Estate / Letting Agency
The role will be predominantly sales orientated but may occasionally assist with taking calls to book viewings in to assist the busy lettings department if telephone calls or emails overspill.
If you have specialised in lettings only, then training to the right candidate can be provided but experience in sales would be preferred.
Roles will generally include but not limited to:
- Negotiating Sales / Offers with Vendors / Buyers
- Supporting The Senior Sales Team in Their Day to Day Roles
- Following up viewings and providing feedback to vendors
- Engaging with Potential Vendors and Buyers via telephone and in the office
- Sending out details of new properties on the market to people on our database
- Scheduling appointments to show buyers around our properties
- Referring buyers and potential buyer to our financial partners for quotations and advice
- Progression of property sales from offer acceptance to completion
- Liaising with solicitors, financial advisors or surveyors during the sales process to provide support throughout
- Administration duties within the office
If you do not have the above experience but eager to learn within a busy estate / letting agency then training can be offered for the right candidate.
Salary is negotiable depending on the candidate experience / qualifications.
The Closing Date for Application is the 14th September 2025 and we are looking for a start date as soon as possible subject to the notice period required for the appointed candidate.
