Job Title: Qualified Social Worker – Shropshire – Looked after Children Team
Location: Shropshire
Rate: £33.30
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting registered and experienced Qualified Social Workers to join a busy team at a Shropshire based Looked after Children Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will be responsible for completing Child in Need and Child Protection work, conducting risk assessments, and creating Child in Need plans. You will also complete Child and Family assessments and have experience working with Section 47 enquiries. You will promote and model effective working arrangements with Mental Health services and other voluntary and community partners to support Care Experienced young people. You will develop a good understanding of evidence-based practice and integrate models of best practice into day-to-day service delivery. Participation in clinical supervision and clinical risk assessing, as well as liaising with mental health services across different boroughs and areas, will be essential. Additionally, you will bring together, develop, and regularly review a multi-agency Pathway Plan with the young person, proactively working with them to achieve their targets.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be eligible for this role, you must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally, you need to hold a full UK driving licence and possess post-qualified experience. A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work is also required.
