Rate: £33.30 per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting registered and experienced Children's Social Workers to join a busy project team at Shropshire. 

Responsibilities: 

As a Children's Social Worker, you will work on a time-limited project for approximately four months, focusing on progressing the discharge of Care Orders for children placed with parents and applications for Special Guardianship Orders for children already in the care of connected carers or foster carers under Care Orders. You will be part of a small dedicated team supported by a project lead and additional capacity in the legal department to progress these discharges and enable children to live without ongoing statutory intervention. You will work with children who are accommodated, their families, and carers, writing timely child and family assessments and court statements, specifically placement with parent assessments, discharge statements in respect of Care Orders, and SGO assessments. You need to be skilled at organizing your diary, keeping focus on tasks, and working independently within a small team to progress all allocated discharges within the project's lifetime.

Qualifications and Experiences: 

To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK licence, and have post-qualified experience. A degree level or equivalent in Social Work is also required.
