We are offering Customers a new way of booking a tradesman for household problems: Fast, Reliable, at Great Prices. We will cover all aspects of home repairs such as Joinery, Electrics, Plumbing, Outdoor and much more to come.

We are seeking a groundsman to maintain outdoor surfaces, who has experience in any of the following: maintaining gardens, car parks, school yards, commercial sites, cleaning on building sites, having done landscaping, outdoor cleaning, or caretaking. this is an exciting role that will initially start with a few hours and build into a full-time leadership role for a candidate with the right attitude.

Part Time Permanent role - leading to Full-Time, Long-Term role

Minimum of £12.50ph hourly rate, depends on skills and experience.

Tasks include:

As This is an all-encompassing role with a wide variety of short duration tasks safely using the appropriate professional tools:

· Some gardening with shrubs cutting back twice a year.

· Spraying weeds, Tidying.

· Sweeping site and Litter picking and clearing unsightly mess.

· Jet washing.

· Signage cleaning.

· Small repairs outdoors.

· Outdoor labour.

Requirements:

· This is a permanent long term job for several years. - Long-term only – no short term (temporary) availability will be considered, you must be available for the longer term on a permanent basis for this role, as there will be detailed induction and training period provided.

· The hours will build up over a few months, as follows: Month 1 - 10hours pw, Month 2 - 20hrs per week, Month 3 - 30hrs pw, month 4 - 40hours per week.

· Local & Own transport – you must be able to get to location in central Preston, be it by bike, scooter, car, van.

· Some Experience or basic training – you must have 2+ years of using outdoor tools experience.

· Flexible working hours, you can work according to a pre-agreed flexible hour based on business demands. Be available on call.

· You will have demonstrable knowledge and competence in the safe use of equipment such as lawnmowers, strimmer's, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, chippers, and hand tools. To avoid any injury to yourself.

· Care of Tools – minimising damage to tool, doing pre-checks and cleaning before storing tools. Keeping a place of everything and everything in its place.

· First Aid certificate / DBS check / CSCS card / good use of PPE.

Rate:

· £12.50 – at least national minimum wage

· The actual rate is negotiable based on your Reliability / Quality of work / Overall skill.

Approximate times are:

· Initially – Part Time and Flexible hours, which may even be evenings to suit you.

· We expect an initial 5 hrs a week, building up your hours as you show competence and independence in finishing tasks, so from 5 hours a week upto 38 hours a week…

Pay:

· Monthly via Bacs.
