**Apprentice Gardener / Horticulturist**

**About the Role**

As an Apprentice Gardener, you will be immersed in all aspects of landscape maintenance, gardening, and garden design. This hands-on role will involve working closely with our Head of Landscapes, allowing you to gain invaluable experience and skills. You will be enrolled onto the Landscape Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship qualification provided by Myerscough College.

**Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing**
- Learning and implementing landscape maintenance techniques
- Gardening and landscaping
- Garden design
- Daily tasks including planting, pruning, watering, and maintaining gardens and outdoor spaces

What You Will Learn:

- Landscape maintenance, gardening, and landscaping skills
- Irrigation and garden design skills
- Experience in maintaining and caring for gardens
- Knowledge of various plant species and their care requirements
- You will gain a Level 2 Landscape Operative qualification

- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths is desired
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work well in a team
- Required to work outdoors in all weather conditions
